Your Time Salon Re-opens in Raleigh, North Carolina in New Location

On Saturday, May 20, 2017, hairstylist Patricia Council hosted the grand opening of Your Time Hair Care Salon at 136 Wind Chime Ct., Studio Z-10 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Council has over two decades of experience serving clients in North Carolina. She recently decided to move her salon to Raleigh from Garner, North Carolina. “After being on Main Street in Garner, North Carolina for nearly twenty years, I felt it was now time to start fresh in a new location in order to service a more diverse clientele,” says Council. “The main focus of Your Time Hair Care Salon is to provide healthy hair care to each and every one of my clients, and to ensure that their hair reaches its full growth potential.”

Throughout the years, Council has worked diligently to perfect her craft and owes her success to God and her mentor, Jackie Quinones. Quinones, has nearly thirty years of experience as a hairstylist. She has worked with major hair care product lines, such as Mizani and has also participated in the Bronner Brothers International Beauty Show. “I enjoy attending this event because it is a great way to network with other professionals in the business as well as learn additional ways to grow your own business, says Quinones. Quinones furthers states that, “although, I have never actually competed in the hair show itself, I always rent a vendor booth at the event and hold seminars about the products that I use on my clients. Customers can purchase these products from me at an affordable price.”

Over forty people attended this event, including existing and potential future clients. Council welcomed her guests with wine and hors d’oeuvres. Council also had a photo/makeup station where her guests were able to get their makeup done free of charge and then take photos. As Council greeted each and every one of her guests, you could sense the happiness she felt to be starting this new journey. During a short, yet heartfelt speech, Council expressed her gratitude for all the people who came out to show their support.

Council offers an array of services for both relaxed and natural hair, at an affordable cost. “I’m not moved by money. Further, to ensure that her clients are knowledgeable about healthy hair care and that they have the right products when they leave her shop, Council holds a brief information session after she is done glamming up her clients. Council prides herself on providing an “environment of positive thinking and enrichment” where clients’ hair can be restored after being damaged or overprocessed by chemicals.
